These guys were professional and reasonably priced. They asked many questions when estimating. However, from the first contact we got a feeling that they cared about our project. This was confirmed later when we got help with picking up stain colors and doing some repair work. Our hardwood floors were transformed and they look gorgeous now.

DZ Flooring provided an excellent job with our hardwood. They did really god job of joining the old and new floors. After sanding and refinishing floors look really close and it is almost impossible to tell them apart. The professional service was really outstanding. Great service. I needed to make some repairs on my kitchen floors and sanded the living and dining rooms as well. Arrived on time. Kept to the schedule and very clean. The first day DZ Flooring arrived to my home they sealed all the doors and kitchen cabinets with protective foil to keep the dust away. They cleaned up everyday before leaving the job. Very nice crew. I will use them again when it is time to do my bedrooms.

Feedback: I contacted a few companies with a water damage problem in my kitchen. Unlike other companies, DZ Flooring suggested to wait. The manager explained that the sub-floor was still not dry enough to proceed with any work. He even suggested I could call him in a few weeks to check if the flooring was dry enough. I waited a few months. Again, the manager checked the floors and suggested few options to the problem. I decided to replace the damaged boards, re-finish, and stain the entire flooring. I was pleasantly surprised with the minimal cleaning after such big job. Yes, there was some dust after the major repairs, but they left the place in order. They did not offer the lowest price, yet I felt most comfortable with the option they recommend. I just hosted a Thanksgiving dinner and my guests were surprised with the quality of the work and beautiful floors DZ Flooring left.

The manager made sure that I did not have any doubts about the process. We decided on email communication - very easy and convenient. They came at the time they scheduled. Feedback: Contractor performed hardwood flooring inspection and evaluation. We were having problems with our newly installed floors, which were exposed to the water leak. Other companies wanted to remove completely remove and reinstall flooring but because of DZ Flooring professional advice we were able to save a lot of money. I checked first they credentials (which by the way were available on their web site) and the person visiting us was very knowledgeable and honest.

Feedback: Contractor removed carpet from living room and new hardwood floor installed. Additionally, refinished the hardwood floor in the kitchen with water based finish.
After receiving estimate they followed up with job evaluation. DZ Flooring team was extremely professional throughout the entire process. The individuals doing the work were prompt and hard-working. They did such a great job of preventing dust ex pension. I was incredibly pleased that such a major job could be done in a way that did not cause any inconvenience to me. The floors look great. Feedback: Removed old carpet, installed solid wood flooring in four bedrooms and hallway.
DZ Flooring was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We have a few year old town house and we were concerned about the quality of the flooring installation and matching existing wood floors. They were trustful and honest. They were very neat and I received a daily phone call on the works progress. They came on time and completed the job in three days. Although they warned us about possible nicks to our walls, baseboards and dust because of some tight quarters, they were very careful and very clean. Outstanding service and installation.

Feedback: Floors in our 50 year old home were in very bad condition. Some areas had water damage and some sections with boards were missing. We had to blend old and new floors together. The areas which were damaged were seamlessly replaced, even though contractor warned us about proper expectations about the look of new and old boards. There was very little clean up for me to do. It was worth every penny, and then some. I found the entire team prompt, professional and polite. They worked fast and neatly. The owner has an extensive amount of knowledge about flooring and takes time to educate you. The owner also took the time to stay in contact by phone to update you on the progress as things are going along as we were traveling for a few days.

Feedback: Our floors were sanded, stained and applied three coats of finish. Carpet was also removed. The contractor is a very pleasant, trustworthy and efficient operator. He is prompt with appointment quotes and responses to questions. He was very helpful with suggestions for finishes and stain colors. It confirmed how important training and education is to help us. During the work they were very patient, explaining how and why stain colors would change as they dried and running several test on site for us to choose colors. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. I will when our kitchen is remodeled come summer. This is a messy process but you should only do I very rarely so the extra effort is worth it. Unless you are only doing a one room or small room definitely move out for the duration of the project.

Feedback: Our hardwood flooring in the bedroom was sanded and stained with provincial stain. Floors came out better than expected, especially in one room where was water damage. You barely can see it now. I contacted the company and after answering a few questions using email I received an estimate the following day. The whole project was completed on Saturday! They did excellent job of sealing off the room so there was not much dust spread out. The finish odors were less than anticipated but it depends on finish, I think. They are craftsmen and aren't happy with a job unless they think it's perfect.

Our experience of working with company was great. The owner was certified by National Wood Flooring Associated. He helped me to understand why hardwood floors in my house were very uneven a few months after installation. He also had more information about the different finishes and what they would look like. I had a few other contractors looking at floors and they could not explain what was wrong. Later, he showed me different stains on my floor so I could choose what I liked best. We were able to move furniture back into the room on the weekend.

They were quick with returning calls and using emails to speed communication. After my original inquiry I received firm estimate. the work was scheduled in two weeks. They came when expected. They started with removal of carpet and they also removed a room full of old parquet floor. During sanding they showed me samples of several stains on the sanded wood. The manager is a very personable person who is easy to work with and follows through on what he says. The floors are beautiful and the whole crew was friendly, polite and very respectful. It was a great experience. The fee was reasonable, cleanup was through, and there were no surprises. I definitely would use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Customer Feedback: DZ Flooring provided and installed beautiful prefinished oak flooring in our first home.
The project went so smoothly. They finished in the time they promised. The manager was always patient and kind and even tried to talk me out of the dark, dark floors I wanted to order as he feared I would be disappointed. I knew what I wanted so we stuck to the original choice but I appreciated that he cared so much. They were courteous and clean. We had a couple of issues, one that the building engineer complained that the flooring guys made a big mess they didn't clean up. When I told the DZ Flooring owner this, he took his number and straightened everything out. There was another remodeling crew working close. Then the baseboards weren't quite as finished as I thought they would be and he came back out and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the end result. There is no question that we would use them again. They were fantastic!

They were great. They were unbelievably responsive and honest about different potential issues. It is just a really great to work with the company. We encountered some problems which we didn't notice until we started installation. The foundation subfloor was really sloped in one of the rooms. They proposed a few options to fix it. The result looks fantastic. These guys give 110% and really go out of their way to do a great work. I would recommend DZ Flooring to all.
