CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
Angie's List is a consumer-driven organization that collects customer satisfaction ratings on local
service companies in more than 250 categories. Companies cannot pay to be rated, nor can they put
themselves on Angie's List. Homeowners support Angie's List to keep it independent and pure.
It is our satisfied customers who are members of Angie's List, and give us highest ratings and referrals.

Zip code: 60304, Oak Park, IL
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Sanded and refinished stairs, three bedrooms and hallway--entire upstairs approximately 900 square feet, applied stain and two
layers of top coat.
COMMENTS: This company was extremely pleasant to deal with and professional from start to finish. The owner responded quickly and communicated
by email (which is a big plus) with general information about the costs and process. The workers were likewise pleasant and professional and the job was done exactly when it was scheduled, despite the fact that they had little
notice and we had a tight deadline before we had to move furniture in the house. The owner left us some floor cleaning solution after the job was completed.
All in all the floors look beautiful and it was a great experience.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: We have new (2 1/2 years old) hardwood floors throughout our condominium. We will be renting this condo because my husband is being
transferred.
There were many black marks on the floor (from ?) which I could not remove by any method that I tried. These needed to be removed to restore the floor to an a
cceptable state. These marks were up to 15 inches long in some spots, as if someone had used a magic marker on the floor. They were quite noticeable.
COMMENTS: I contacted Chicagoland Flooring with this problem and he made an appointment to come to view and estimate the problem. The owner was running late
for the appointment, but called me to let me know where he was and when he could be expected to arrive, so this was not a problem. He arrived with a large
European chocolate bar in apology for his lateness (quite good!). First he attempted to remove the marks with cleaner. This didn't work. Then we discussed my
options. He left me with some suggestions to try on my own to see if it was possible to repair this problem without redoing the entire floor
(the only other alternative). His suggestions worked and I avoided a very large bill. I am thrilled. Although it took some work on my part,
it was worth it for the money saved. I appreciated the advice and the fact that Chicagoland Flooring didn't just sell me a service. He attempted to help me
solve the problem in the most cost effective way. This is a very honest company. I can't imagine a better outcome.

Zip Code: 60611, Chicago, IL, Gold Coast
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Chicagoland Flooring provided and installed about 1200 square feet of beautiful prefinished oak flooring in our first home. They also removed the tacks
from preexisting carpet and removed a room full of old bubbling parquet floor. They then disposed of old baseboard and replaced it with new, unfinished baseboard.
COMMENTS: The project went so smoothly. They finished in the time they promised. The owner was always patient and kind and even tried to talk me out of the dark, dark floors
I wanted to order as he feared I would be disappointed. I knew what I wanted so we stuck to the original choice but I appreciated that he cared so much. They were courteous
and clean. We had a couple of issues, one that the building engineer complained that the flooring guys made a big mess they didn't clean up. When I told
the Chicagoland owner this, he took
his number and straightened everything out. Then the baseboards weren't quite as finished as I thought they would be and he came back out and went above and beyond to make
sure I was happy with the end result. There is no question that we would use them again. They were fantastic!
